My counselling approach is largely influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

In addition, I regularly incorporate elements of the following:

  • Mindfulness Based Therapies
  • Buddhist Psychology
  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
  • Existential Therapy
  • Person-Centred/Rogerian approach.

A key component of all counselling is the therapeutic relationship.  We will work together to target your goals and alleviate the pain in your life.
