Below you will find a few resources that you can reference to help out someone you know or even yourself.

Option B – This organization (and the book that inspired it) provides tips and tools for working with many types of loss that can change one’s life

Crisis Centre – If you are worried about someone harming themselves, it’s important to seek crisis help.  Here you can find chat or phone connections to help you figure out how to get someone the help they need.

Beyond Blue – This Australian site has lots of great information for how you can be supportive of anyone dealing with mental health concerns.

Remember, it’s helpful even just to ask someone what they need and how you can help.  Often, you don’t have all the answers and that’s okay.  It is generally a relief and comfort for somebody when they know that you care.
